That's fantastic! I love the way that he manages to involve all of the other musicians and, judging from the smiles on their faces, so do they.

I find it funny that strings (violins, in particular) are making such a comeback these days as attention-grabbing instruments. I was in love with the violin when I was really young (5 or so), but by the time I was old enough to do anything about my interest in the instrument, my impression of it had been ruined by the stodgy image people tend to apply to it. Yet nowadays we see musicians like Nigel Kennedy that use it in a 'traditional' setting to great effect, bands like Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Rachel's who incorporate it into what would be often considered to be a 'rock' setting, and artists like Final Fantasy (who I highly recommend) who make it the centre of their sonic explorations. Glad to see the violin being appreciated as it should be!
